New breast cancer screening law requires insurance to cover more

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A new state law means more options to pay for ways to detect breast cancer. The law requires health insurance companies to cover breast cancer screening of more than just a mammogram. It will also cover advanced X-ray and MRI scans.
