Washtenaw County beach closed to swimming due to high bacteria levels

WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. – The Washtenaw County Health Department has closed Independence Lake Beach due to high levels of E. coli bacteria.

The beach is located at Independence Lake County Park, in the 3200 block of Jennings Road and Whitmore Lake.
